Falcon-9 выведет на орбиту Intelsat-40e
Компания Intelsat объявила о том, что в 2022 году при помощи ракеты Falcon-9 она выведет на орбиту свой космический аппарат  Intelsat-40e. Производителем спутника является компания Maxar Technologies, которая получила контракт на его создание в конце прошлого года. На спутнике также будет установлена принадлежащая NASA полезная нагрузка Tropospheric Emissions: Monitoring of Pollution (TEMPO).
Спутник Intelsat-40e будет предоставлять услуги Ка и Ku диапазонной спутниковой связи на территории Северной Америки. Частично этот аппарат будет замещать возможности вышедшего из строя космического аппарата Intelsat-29e, сообщает сайт Ecoruspace.me.
